Planting Design...
I will provide a bespoke design for your borders.
The process:
Step 1: I begin with a site visit where I will spend time assessing the garden and its aspect and soil conditions.
I will take into account any plants which are worthy of staying and listen to your wishes for the colour, style and structure you hope for and any concerns you have with the borders currently.
Step 2: I then produce a scale planting plan with full plant descriptions. We will then discuss this and I will implement any changes if required.
Step 3: Once you are completely happy with the design I will produce a final plan and accompany this with a detailed maintenance schedule so you have all the tools to keep the planting looking good in the long term.

Garden Consultation...
This will involve a visit to your your garden where I will spend time with you addressing any concerns you may have.
For example:
Plant identification
Pruning advice for trees, shrubs and perennials
Pest and disease management
Identifying which plants may need to move or go
Suggesting new plants which will enhance the existing planting
Advice on border configuration
Soil assessment and improvement
This will be followed up with detailed notes with all my suggestions and advice. This will help you to feel more confident in understanding your garden and empower you to get the very best from it.
Coaching Sessions...
I can offer a half day or a full day, working along side you in your garden de-mystifying the art of keeping a garden looking its best.
Pruning, soil assessment and weed control advice can be given and shown to you as well as anything else you would like to know about or be shown how to do.
The aim of this is to help you to feel confident in picking up those secateurs in future and knowing what your plants need to perform to their best.
If you would like to bring a few friends in I can run group sessions which will reduce the cost for all involved. it will also give the opportunity to explore more gardening queries and would make the time a lot of fun.
